400 Rolls of Vellum:
5 wood planks x 400 = 2,000 planks 5 piles of glittering dust x 400 = 2,000 dust 20g x 400 = 8000g cost if planks sell for 10g each, 20,000g for 2,000 planks if dust sell for 7g each (that's about right for dust), 14,000g for 2,000 dust 34,000g so far add the 8 plat crafting cost 42 plat worth of vellum |

Yes, but the last time I checked, Vellum was 170g/roll.
So the price to BUY that much Vellum would be 400 x 170 = 68 plat. So crafting is the way to go. |

The prices for wood and dust are what YOU get if you sell the crafting materials seperately. So if you were to go into the vellum selling business, it wouldn't be extremely profitable.

it IS extremely profitable. I make money selling parchment and vellum. you can make one piece of vellum(if you purchased all the materials) for 120 and sell quite easily for 170(or atleast you could a couple weeks ago). That's a 50g profit for each piece of vellum multiply that by the 400 rolls the monk needs for armor and you make 20plat for every 400 rolls you sell...that's pretty profitable. that's assuming you pay 10g for each wood plank x 5 (50g) and 10g for each pile of dust x 3 (50g) even if you're selling teh vellum for 150 you're making 7.5 plat for each 400 you sell....it's very very profitable. |

Ever since the PVPx weekend, I haven't seen any vellum sell for over 120. I used to get insane cashflow from that as well. Now, trying to sell things like parchment and vellum are a huge waste of my time, which can be better spent farming and killing things.
